Wetterzeube: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Wetterzeube combines nature, history, and regional culinary delights. The protected Elster Floßgraben is a hydraulic engineering project from the 16th century that was built between 1579 and 1587. The Haynsburg local history association offers guided tours and visits throughout the year.
Culinary Delights
Viticulture in Wetterzeube has been documented since 1209: at that time, a vineyard between Pötewitz and Wetterzeube was transferred to the Zeitz church. At Ziegenhof Schleckweda, goat cheese is produced using traditional methods, while Cafe Capra offers farm specialties and regional wine.
