Quierschied has several named routes. These include the 8 km Hohlenstein Tour, the Halde Göttelborn network of trails, the 10 km premium trail “Wildes Netzbachtal” and a 25.6 km section of the Way of St. James towards Saarbrücken. Hohlenstein and Göttelborner Höhe are located near Quierschied; Höcherberg is located in the wider regional surroundings of Quierschied.

The approximately 12 km cycling route “tour d’énergie” runs between the former Reden mine and the Göttelborn mine. At 12 information stations, the focus is on the topics of mining, forest, sun and climate change. The cross-border Velo visavis cycling network extends across the Saarland–Lorraine border region and is described as a 264 km route suitable for multi-day cycling tours and weekend excursions.
