In Eppelborn, the Wiesbach Miners' Path leads from the industrial era to the Göttelborn Mine as a preserved footpath and cart track. The path is described as being preserved in its original condition and was recognized as an archaeological monument in 2022. Visitors are advised to park at Outreau-Platz in Wiesbach and walk to the path, as there is no direct parking at the path.

Buseck Castle stands in the Bubach-Calmesweiler district. This Baroque manor house was built in 1735 and is described as an important testament to the history of the former Eppelborn lordship.

The Finkenrech Nordic.Fitness.Park is the first licensed Nordic fitness park in Saarland and has three routes through the Finkenrech forests. The routes pass by the Klingelfloß stream. The garden areas at Finkenrech provide guidance on designing and maintaining ornamental and kitchen gardens.

The Asian Garden features winding paths, carefully laid-out gravel areas, water features, and ponds. The themed fragrance, medicinal, and herb gardens illustrate the importance of plants as spices and medicines.

Leisure

The facilities at Hellbergbad include an infrared heat cabin, a steam sauna, a sunbathing lawn, a children's paddling pool with a slide, and an outdoor Kneipp pool. There are also water aerobics, aqua jogging courses, and Hydro Power.

Routes

A signposted hiking route of approximately five kilometers connects Eppelborn railway station with Finkenrech. The route is marked with small signs and directional arrow signs displaying distances in both directions.

The Eppelborn cycling loop is approximately 32.2 kilometers long, runs mainly along paved paths, and includes several sections through fields and forests. The Panorama Trail is approximately 23.9 kilometers long and takes a full day or two days to complete.

Geographical Location

The official geometric center of Saarland lies in the Eppelborn district of Habach. An information board stands there 55 meters north of the exact point.
