Malberg Castle stands on a promontory above the Kyll. The medieval castle of Malberg has not survived; the present old castle building probably dates from around 1580. The complex includes an 18th-century palace, an old 16th-century building, and a gatehouse with a clock tower dating from 1709.

Culture

The history of the town also includes the Old Church, which was built in 1755 and used as a barn from 1833, as well as the Baroque castle church of Malberg Castle.
