Altenberge: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Altenberge has many kilometres of cycling and hiking trails around and through the town. The municipality offers seven routes as free cycling maps with route descriptions through the citizens’ office. The tree educational trail leads through Altenberge and takes about one hour.

Haus Sieverding is documented as dating back to the 14th century. In 1661, the Jesuits in Münster converted the fortified granary into a summer residence. The octagonal Dutch-style windmill Holzholländer in Hansell is described as a worthwhile detour on walks or cycling tours.

Guided tours of the town for groups can be organised during the day by prior registration. Group visits to the Heimathues Kittken can likewise be organised by prior registration.
