Culture and History
Ueckermünde's Haffmuseum is housed in the castle of the Pomeranian dukes in the old town. It presents prehistoric, early historical, and urban historical exhibits, including material on foundry work, brickmaking, shipping, and fishing.
Town and Water
The town harbour is located on the Uecker at the Kleines Haff, next to the branch of the Köhnschen Canal. Walkable, barrier-free promenades run along both sides of the Uecker; there are seating areas along the harbour and quay wall.
The old town includes the castle with the Haffmuseum, historic half-timbered houses and warehouses, as well as St. Mary's Church.
