Beach and Water Activities

Stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing and sailing are offered or practiced at Baabe beach. These activities complement the fine sandy beach with different ways to spend time by the water. Promenade and Routes Toward Sellin or Göhren

Baabe’s beach promenade is an extension of Göhren’s “Bernsteinpromenade” and continues from Baabe to the Baltic Sea resort of Sellin. The Baaber Bollwerk, or harbor, has berths for 25 recreational boats and two passenger ships. The gate makes the transition between Mönchgut and the rest of Rügen tangible, adding a cultural landmark to the beach and harbor.

Events and Library

The Baltic Sea resort of Baabe offers an events program throughout the year, with festivals, spa concerts, children’s activities and readings for guests of all ages.
