St. Mary’s Village Church: Brick Architecture and Medieval Details

Construction of St. Mary’s Village Church in Neu Boltenhagen began around 1280/90 as a brick building. The church, with its single-nave nave and wooden west tower, was largely completed in the 14th and 15th centuries. It is one of Pomerania’s outstanding rural ecclesiastical buildings.
