Landscape and Nature

Glasin is situated in a terminal moraine landscape. In the south, hills with elevations of over 90 to 100 metres characterise the area; to the east are the lowlands of the Groß Tessin Basin, and to the west is a sandy outwash plain. A constant alternation of valleys and hills is characteristic of the area; at 104 metres above sea level, Fuchsberg is the highest elevation. Culture

The village church of Groß Tessin is a seven-bay brick building that probably dates from the first half of the 14th century. Its west tower was built as a fortified tower and bears a roof inscription from 1741. Inside, a Baroque pulpit altar from 1750 dominates.
