The natural bathing area and the centre offer different ways to enjoy your stay: one provides access to the water, while the other offers courses and equipment for water sports.
Pruchten also has a small harbour with boat hire and a rest area for waterway travellers. Passenger boats pass Pruchten and Bresewitz and take visitors on round trips across the Bodden through Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park. Traces of the Darß railway are also part of the village landscape: the old railway tracks and station buildings have been preserved in Pruchten and Bresewitz. The buildings are now used for other purposes. They therefore tell the story of a former rail connection, but the surviving structures should not be mistaken for a railway service operating today.
