Dummerstorf Manor House is described as one of the oldest manor houses in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is protected as a listed monument. It is described as having been built in the Baroque style between 1714 and 1717; cultural events take place there.

Dummerstorf is described as being located around 10 kilometres southeast of Rostock in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, on a ground moraine between the Warnow tributaries Kösterbeck and Zarnow.
