At the southern edge of Glienicke stands the protected Glienicke Viaduct, a 95-metre-long, four-arch brick railway viaduct. It spans the Glienicke Gorge in the Blabbergraben valley, was completed in 1898, rebuilt in 1949 and extensively renovated in 2014.

The sculpture “Autumn of Life” stands in the cemetery at the corner of Hartensdorfer Straße and Radlower Straße. It was carved by the artist Steffen Böttger from the crown base of the former Glienicke village oak.

The surrounding area of Glienicke is home to Mauerstrasse Defensive Wall, Mint Tower, Northwestern Defensive Wall and Stork Tower.

Geographical Location

Glienicke lies east of Lake Herzberg and extends towards Lake Scharmützel.
