Leonhardiverehrung: a custom with a long history

Two museums, two historical perspectives

The Kleine Heimatmuseum in Reichling’s old fire station mainly houses objects from earlier rural life. Most of the Roman finds from the Mühlau cremation burial ground include oil lamps, bowls, beakers, vases, a hand mirror, various fibulae, game pieces and coins. Visits are possible by appointment. It is Bavaria’s third-largest lake, after Lake Chiemsee and Lake Starnberg, and offers boat trips, water sports and lakeside promenades.
