The circular hiking trail around Mistelgau is 6.5 km long, starting and ending at the Rot-Kreuz-Haus Mistelgau. The Kulmleite is 6 km long and starts and ends at the Mistelgau municipal depot. The Hoher Berg circular hiking trail is 5.5 km long and also starts and ends at the Rot-Kreuz-Haus. The 5.7 km Schobertsberg circular hiking trail starts and ends on Culmer Straße.

Twelve sculptures by local artist Fritz Föttinger stand along the Ehrlichbach stream in Obernsees. He made them from iron taken from old agricultural equipment. The works combine sculptural design with a material whose origins are part of their distinctive character.
The village calendar also has its regular events. Every year on 30 April, the Hummeltrachten-Erhaltungsverein Mistelgau puts up a maypole on Mistelgau’s village square, carefully crafted by hand. Geology and Knockhütte
