Wendlingen am Neckar is a town in the district of Esslingen in Baden-Württemberg and is located within the Stuttgart Region and the Stuttgart Metropolitan Region.

The present-day town of Wendlingen am Neckar was formed in 1940 from the formerly independent municipalities of Wendlingen, including Bodelshofen, and Unterboihingen.

Wendlingen am Neckar has a long-standing Vinzenzifest tradition associated with the Egerland community. The festival has been celebrated continuously since 1952; it is described as one of the largest traditional folk festivals in Baden-Württemberg.
