In Bournand, the Pierre-Folle is a megalithic monument made of red sandstone in the form of a covered gallery. It is 18.47 metres long, approximately 6 metres wide on average, and estimated to weigh 345 tonnes. It has been classified as a Monument historique since 1889.

Culture and History
The Church of Saint Martin dates from 1895 and was built over an older Romanesque church. The surviving entrance portal of the former Church of Saint Martin was registered as a Monument historique in 1938. The church also preserves an altar from the former royal abbey of Notre-Dame de Fontevraud.
The Château de Verrière dates from the 16th century and has been registered as a Monument historique since 1931. In 2013, the Fondation Anako opened its ethnographic museum there to the public; it displayed collections and films about the last Indigenous peoples with oral traditions.

Paths and Landscape
The landscape around Bournand includes wooded massifs and limestone slopes. The Sentier du Basilic is a discovery trail featuring points of interest such as a fountain and a washhouse.
The European Way of Saint Martin passes through Bournand and various places in the northern Loudunais. At the intersections, marked signs bear the letters “DStM” and an arrow on each side. In Poitou, the Way of Saint Martin is called Le Chemin de Ligugé and can be followed with the help of hiking maps.

Karting de Loudun is located at the Circuit de la Boule d’Or in Bournand. At Karting de la Boule d’Or, visitors can go-karting on a wooded race track; children can drive from a height of 1.40 metres, and the facilities also include two-seater karts intended for children aged four and over.
The Pierre-Folle is located near Les Ormeaux, north of the village, on private property. The monument can be visited during the Journées du Patrimoine on the third weekend of September.
