The Church of Saint-Vivien was the seat of a parish in the Diocese of Saintes during the Middle Ages. It was completely rebuilt in the 13th century; its west portal and porch probably date from the 17th century.

History
The site of the Château de Roissac has been inhabited since the 13th century; the present complex was rebuilt on the site of a Renaissance château. A road dating from Celtic times ran through the area of the present-day municipality of Angeac-Champagne.
The Fontaine de Roissac currently comprises seven basins, an aqueduct and a small square building.

The present crossing at Les Trois Pierres leads over a stone bridge made of large limestone blocks; steps allow it to be crossed exclusively on foot. The ford at Les Trois Pierres across the Ruisseau de la Motte is considered to predate the Roman period.
