At Le Tourp, visitors can discover the La Hague region through permanent and temporary exhibitions. The immersive performance “Un trésor au bout du monde” conveys the history and inhabitants of La Hague in five animated and staged rooms. Le Tourp also offers practical activities such as leatherworking, felting and pottery for children and adults.

The Sentier des Douaniers on the former fort above the harbour offers an impressive view. Maritime history, coastal landscapes and insights into the region’s culture thus come together at the harbour.

A hiking route from Le Tourp continues along the GR®223 towards the small harbour of Omonville-la-Rogue. The loop to the harbour takes two and a half hours. The “Sur les pas de Jean-François Millet” route can also begin at Port du Hâble.

The Pôle Nautique Hague base in Omonville-la-Rogue offers a wide range of water sports activities from the age of five, in group or individual courses and for hire. Diving training sessions are also offered in Omonville-la-Rogue.

Harbour life and regional specialities

The traditional harbour festival Fête du Port d’Omonville-la-Rogue returns to Port du Hâble with a new edition. Guests can enjoy seafood on a terrace. The blue lobster of Cotentin is regarded as a well-known speciality of the Cotentin coast in connection with Omonville-la-Rogue.
