There is also much to discover in terms of cultural history. Timmesøbjerg is a hilltop refuge fortress near Møns Klint. Traces from the Bronze Age and Iron Age have been found there; Timmesøbjerg is also included on the list of Denmark’s 100 most beautiful prehistoric monuments. Liselund Slotspark is considered Denmark’s best-preserved romantic garden complex. The grounds tell the story of its founder, Antoine de la Calmette, and his beloved wife, Lisa.
