Using a smartphone, it leads to a short video about the schoolchild who created the respective mask. This allows the visit to be combined with a digital discovery experience in which each individual mask has its own story.

The installation was preceded by an educational programme. All the schoolchildren learned about the Ice Age, nature, food, cultural history and, in particular, the Odsherred painters. Geokids is therefore not separate from its surroundings, but addresses themes that also recur in the landscape and regional culture. For families, this can be a good opportunity to bring different interests together on an outing without limiting the day to a single activity.
