One of the distinctive experiences in Skjern Enge is Kong Hans Bro. The crossing over the Skjern River connects history and the present; it is also home to Denmark’s longest wooden suspension bridge. Forsøgshaven in Tarm combines garden and activity elements. It features an obstacle course with 21 obstacles and a length of approximately 1,000 metres. Art can also be discovered in Tarm’s urban space. The Kunstrute i Tarm leads to several sculptures, each of which has its own story. They include “Tvillingemasker”, a bronze work created by Jens Galschiøt in 2012 on a white south gable wall at Apoteker Rasmussens Plads, and the sculpture “Den dykkende dame”, which was installed in Tarm in 2011 and was also created by Jens Galschiøt. The Markedsdage in Tarm combine commerce, music and community at Bybækken and can be traced back to 1972.
