Hadsten railway station is located on the railway line between Aarhus and Randers stations. InterCity trains stop at the station. Another noteworthy landmark in the town's history is the sculpture “Samarbejde”. It was created in 1972 and represents cooperation through ten interlocking large rings. In 1994, the sculpture was moved to its present location at the roundabout at Vesselbjergvej, Bavnehøjvej, Østergade and Ødumvej in Hadsten. Hadsten Gade Grand Prix traditionally takes place every year immediately after the summer holidays. It has been held since 1993. Regardless of this event, the MTB trail in Hadsten offers its own way to explore the surroundings by bike. The trail therefore appeals to a different kind of holiday day than the Grand Prix: Here, the focus is not on watching an event, but on riding yourself.

Culture house, podwalk and Lilleåen

Sløjfen Culture House is home to the town library, Favrskov Music School, meeting rooms, a hall and music rooms. Sløjfen also offers concerts, exhibitions and local events throughout the year. This means you can add culture to your stay even when you are deliberately looking for different impressions between active days.
