The surrounding landscape also has its own distinctive features. Frøbjerg Bavnehøj is located nearby. At 131 metres above sea level, it is the highest point on Funen; the area around Frøbjerg Bavnehøj is protected. Another scenic impression can be found in Erholm Park, a historic park designed in the English romantic landscape style. Rolling terrain, winding paths, idyllic lakes and rare trees from Denmark and abroad shape its character. Erholm Gods has a history dating back to the 16th century.

At Kulturhuset Industrien, Kunstforeningen Galleriet presents ten different exhibitions each year, changing monthly. The works on display include paintings, ceramics, glass, sculptures, photographs and paper art, among others. In addition, Kunstforeningen Galleriet holds a vernissage on the first Thursday of every month from 5 to 6 p.m. This gives you the opportunity to meet the current artist.

Musik Midt i Aarup adds to the cultural profile with a free one-day festival held every year.
