These include a Northern Bulgarian lyutenitsa prepared mainly from tomatoes, roasted peppers and aubergines, with additional black pepper. A cooking workshop held by residents of Palamartsa demonstrated its preparation. The Iskra-1893 Community Centre is working to preserve and promote the culinary traditions of the Kapantsi community of Palamartsa.

In 2022, Malinafest, a raspberry festival, was associated with Palamartsa. The secretary of the Iskra-1893 Community Centre is named as the author of a culinary book.
