Nature
The Pirineshki Dzhendem Waterfall is 34 metres high, easily accessible, signposted and well maintained. The hilly area around the Golyama Reka offers opportunities for excursions in almost untouched nature and for fishing.
Culture
The Roman Bridge has six semicircular arches and is an important architectural and historical monument over the Stara Reka, 7 kilometres from the village of Stevrek. It is part of the “Sredna Yantra” eco-zone, which extends across the municipalities of Antonovo, Strazhitsa and Zlataritsa. The Roman Bridge can only be reached on foot and strictly with a local guide, as the area is difficult to access.
The Antonovo–Stevrek tourist route includes the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stevrek. In Yastrebino, there is the base of the Regional STEM Centre, with the option to make a reservation.
The Yanaki Manasiev House Museum and the art gallery in Bozhitsa feature a permanent exhibition of the artist’s works; the Yanaki Manasiev House Museum displays the artist’s drawings, sketches, oil paintings and personal belongings.
According to local tradition, the traditional Antonovo Fair takes place in June. As part of the Traditional Antonovo Fair Days, there is an accompanying cultural and sports programme as well as an amusement area with attractions.
