Trudovets: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In the centre of Trudovets stands St. George's Church, described locally as one of the settlement's significant public buildings. It was built between 1900 and 1908.

Culture

The Church of Saint George the Great Martyr is designated as a cultural monument of artistic value and local significance. Its iconostasis was created by masters from Debar from the Filipovi family, while the icons were painted by Georgi Zhelyazkov.

Events

The Zlatni Nishki National Folklore Festival in Trudovets is a competitive folklore event featuring competitions for Bulgarian folk dances and folk songs. The eighth edition, held in 2026, lasted two days and attracted more than 1,000 participants from over 60 singing, dance and folklore ensembles.

The Pop Nako village festival was revived in 2025 after a 15-year break.

Practical Information

The east–west road through Trudovets connects the settlement with the Hemus motorway. The access road to Pop Nako was newly asphalted in 2025; there is a car park as well as tables and benches for guests on site.

The Credo complex in Trudovets's central square comprises a family hotel and three dining establishments. Its outdoor area includes a garden, a pool and a children's corner. The complex offers free parking and fast internet.

The Stubelya fountain in Trudovets is a water point with mains water near the Hemus motorway.
