Lyubenova mahala: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Lyubenova Mahala is associated with the revolutionary heritage of the Bulgarian National Revival: Vasil Levski visited the village in 1869 and helped establish a private secret revolutionary committee; the local committee later coordinated the committees of neighboring villages. Culture

The Church of St Great Martyr George is listed as No. 76 among Bulgaria's 100 National Tourist Sites and is designated as a monument of national importance as well as a cultural asset of high artistic and cultural value.

The church complex is associated with the July 1877 massacre known as "Second Batak"; the victims were killed in the church, in the churchyard, and in the surrounding streets.
