Culture and History
The community center of Koshov maintains women's and men's amateur folklore groups and presents the traditional Jamal ritual, which has been documented in its current form since 1934.
Koshov is associated with the rock monastery complexes of Gramovets and Chiplijsko, a rock cell, the archaeological settlement and necropolis of Bodurtsi, the remains of the Smesitsite sanctuary, a dedicatory plaque from the time of Trajan, and an early Christian church from the 5th–6th century.
