Culture
The Church of St. Archangel Michael in Liulin was consecrated on 4 June 2016. Its construction began in 2001 through voluntary work and donations from local residents. The new church stands near Liulin’s oldest church, which collapsed in the 1970s following an active landslide.
The fourth national folklore festival “Lyulin Sings and Dances” was scheduled for 20 and 21 June 2026 in front of the community centre in Liulin. A local Surva celebration in Liulin was ceremonially opened in the square in front of the Hristo Botev Community Centre.
The Liulin war memorial commemorates residents of Railovo and Tsarnel who lost their lives in the Balkan War, the Allied War, the First World War and the Second World War. Railovsko Gradishte covers 42 decares and features ramparts, trenches, walls and rubble.
Nature
The approaches to the Lyulin Mountains lead through Liulin. Railovsko Gradishte lies on the highest peak in the western part of the Lyulin Mountains and offers views towards the fields of Sofia and Pernik.
Hiking
The route from Liulin to Kryvi Kamak is described as approximately 2.3 km long in each direction. The route to Krivi Kamak begins on the outskirts of Liulin.
Horse competitions were scheduled in the village of Manastir below St Nicholas Monastery near Liulin for Todorova Saturday.
