The Bosnek–Mecha-Cheshma route ends at a shelter and a water fountain beside meadows suitable for resting and picnicking.

Culture and History

Near Bosnek stands a Thracian fortress made of roughly hewn stones, with walls 1.5–2 metres thick; it contains a sanctuary associated with sun worship. The medieval fortress above Bosnek is classified as an archaeological monument of local importance. In the centre of Bosnek, an ancient settlement is classified as an archaeological monument of local importance. The St Theodore Stratilat Church in Bosnek is classified as an architectural monument.
