Culture and History
The active Levorechki Monastery of the Forty Martyrs is located approximately 1 km north of Leva Reka in the Elovishka Mountain. Its church is designated as a cultural monument of national importance and preserves frescoes dating back at least to the 17th century.

Leva Reka is part of a 38 km circular road cycling route around the Elovishka Mountain. The route is described as easy, takes approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours, runs entirely on asphalt, and has relatively little car traffic.
