History

Tsvyatko Tsintsarski was the first teacher at this cell school. Young people from the surrounding area studied there. After studying in Dupnitsa, Tsintsarski returned to Lobosh and became a teacher and priest. The cell school was moved to a small building on the church grounds.

The former cell school houses a local museum collection. The building is described as the oldest school in the Radomir area; the collection showcases local life and traditions.

The Church of St Haralampiy in Lobosh was built and consecrated in 1857 and is described as one of the largest churches in the surrounding area.

Near Lobosh lies Tsarsko Selishte Fortress, which was part of the defensive system protecting the Struma Valley. Archaeological findings indicate that the fortress remained in operation until the 11th and 12th centuries.

Local Traditions

The Lobosh Bread House includes a dining hall designed in the style of an old Bulgarian tradition. A pottery and ceramics workshop of the Art Workshop Mo was established in Lobosh.
