A 13 km hiking route leads from Lomnitsa via Gurbannovtsi to Mount Aramlia. It takes approximately 4.5 hours and climbs from 668 m to 1,496 m.

The Lomnitsa–Aramlia route can be accessed by car as far as Lomnitsa. The route is not marked, includes overgrown sections, and runs mostly along unpaved roads. It is best followed using a GPS track. As the route reaches the Serbian border, hikers are advised to notify the border police.

Culture

The Church of St. George in Lomnitsa, dating from the Bulgarian National Revival period, was built in 1869. It is a large three-nave church with a western narthex.

Inside, there is an uncarved wooden iconostasis with plant motifs. The icons are provisionally attributed to the painter Ivan Dospevski, including an icon of Christ dated 1869.
