Albena: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Albena Beach has a gently sloping shore with shallow water. There are four water sports bases directly on the beach; Albena offers windsurfing and canoeing. Those wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Albena can then continue their accommodation search.

Within the resort, visitors can get around by free shuttle bus and an electric bus. In addition, there is a tourist train and a seasonally operated outdoor escalator between the beach and the central area. The escalator operates from 15 June to 10 September and costs extra.

Water and Activities

The sports facilities also include 12 beach volleyball courts. Albena has five outdoor sports areas in different parts of the resort. Albena's horse-riding base offers horseback riding for tourists in the forest or resort, and Albena offers walks in the forest or along the beach.

Nature

The Baltata Reserve is located directly next to Albena. Baltata offers visitors free access; information boards provide information about plant and animal species. More than 180 bird species have been recorded in the Baltata area.

Culture

Restaurants in Albena serve Bulgarian national dishes and international specialities, including products described as being produced in Albena's own gardens. There are also bars and nightclubs within the resort. Albena's beach library offers more than 6,000 titles in 15 languages. Free beach zones cover more than half of the beach section.

There are three golf courses near Albena: BlackSeaRama, Lighthouse Golf Resort and Thracian Cliffs.
