The annual Todorovden celebration in Bachevo combines horse races with local rituals. The Samodivska Trail begins in Bachevo and climbs to Rusaliite in the alpine Rila Mountains, where it joins the European E4 trail. The entire route is 15 km long, takes approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes, has an ascent of 1,400 m, and is classified as moderately difficult to difficult.
