West Herzegovina Canton: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Lake Blidinje is the largest natural lake in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a geomorphological natural monument. It lies between the Vran and Čvrsnica mountains at the bottom of Dugo polje, at an altitude of 1,184 metres.

The surrounding area also includes Ponor Šajnovci, which is considered a cave, and Bandurica, which is considered a mountain. Mala Jama, considered a cave, lies in the wider regional surroundings of West Herzegovina Canton.
Cuisine
A guided programme for collecting medicinal herbs in Blidinje includes gathering plants, instruction on drying and preparing tea, and a traditional meal.
Visits to rural households in Blidinje offer a two-hour opportunity to sample traditionally made products such as cheese or preparations made from pine needles.
Culture
The Humačka ploča from the 12th century is located in the Humac Museum in the Franciscan Monastery of St Anthony of Padua in Humac. It is considered the oldest surviving monument written in Croatian in present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Gračine archaeological site in Humac comprises the remains of a Roman military complex dating from the 1st to the 3rd century. The Gračine archaeological area was declared a national monument in 2003.
The “STARI GRAD U LJUBUŠKOM” fortress was declared a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina in October 2003.
The West Herzegovina Fest takes place in Široki Brijeg in Sajmište Park on the Lištica as a three-day festival of amateur creativity featuring music, short films, short stories, artistic performances and special musical guests.
Sveta Kata, considered a church, lies in the vicinity of West Herzegovina Canton. Sveta Marija, Sveti Petar and Sveti Ante, all considered churches, lie in the wider regional surroundings of West Herzegovina Canton.
Winter
Risovac Ski Centre has several ski runs and two ski lifts. The facilities also include a beginner's lift, a children's toboggan run and a ski school.
