The “Lesnaya Rechka” ecological educational trail runs for 2,800 metres along the floodplain of the Kopayuvka between Rudnya and Leplevka. One route passes through the Pribuzhskoye Polesye Reserve, an internationally important protected area where special rules of conduct apply.

The named hills Gora Bakha and Gora Krushina are located in the vicinity of Rudnya. In the wider regional area are the named hills Gora Mutvitsa and Gora Voyskovaya. Pribuzhskoye Polesye, a republican landscape reserve and biosphere reserve, is also located in the wider regional area of Rudnya.

Culture and History

According to chronicle records, Rudnya has been known since the 16th century. The wooden Church of the Archangel Michael in Chersk is active and was built no later than 1701. It is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Belarus.
