The Mound of Glory memorial complex in the Smolevichi District commemorates the achievements of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Belorussian Fronts and the 1st Baltic Front during the 1944 Belarusian Operation. It was opened on 5 July 1969 and is 10 km from the Smol’nitsa agro-estate.
Wooden churches have been preserved in the Smolevichi District and are considered typical examples of folk architecture. The Vankovich Estate in Alesino has been partially preserved; its farm buildings are designed in the Art Nouveau style and combine red brick with rubble stone.
