The Church of Saints Peter and Paul is a 16th-century Renaissance architectural monument on the historic market square. Construction began in 1588, and the church was in operation by 1600.
The Assumption Church was founded in 1590. A document from 1592 granted it land and additional privileges. A brick Baroque church was built on this site in 1743; a Basilian monastery was also established there.
