In Borovlyany, the parish of Our Lady, Help of Christians, belongs to the local Salesian community and has existed since 2001. The Salesian community of Saint Dominic Savio was founded in 2015. The Salesian Oratory of Saint Dominic Savio was ceremonially opened on 20 September 2018.

The Church of the Annunciation in Borovlyany is 22.7 metres high and built of rubble stone and brick. It was built in the Russian tent-roof style without a bell tower; however, there is a belfry above the entrance. The Catholic Church of Our Lady, Help of Christians, in Borovlyany is also built of brick. Beneath its tower is a chapel with an icon of Our Lady of Borovlyany, “Help of Christians”.

Construction of the Church of the Annunciation of the parish of Borovlyany began in the village of Lesnoy in October 2001. By 2005, its walls and dome with a cross had been completed. The Church of the Holy Trinity is a wooden church building on a concrete foundation with a basement and was consecrated in summer 1999.

Nature

The Prilepsky Republican Landscape Reserve is located in the Minsk District of Minsk Region and covers 3,242 hectares. It was established to preserve a unique landscape complex with naturally occurring old coniferous forests, as well as rare or endangered plant and animal species listed in the Red Book of Belarus.

A population of Turk's cap lilies has been recorded in the forest near the village of Opytny. Larvae of the rare beetle Boros schneideri have also been recorded in the forest near Opytny.
