Chereshlya: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The “Zorachka Charesli” tourist cycling route No. 440 begins in Chereshlya and is 10 km long as a marked cycling route. Those who choose Chereshlya for their stay can rent a holiday apartment.

Water

Kayaks are available for rent at the “Chereshlya” farmstead in Chereshlya. The farmstead is located on the shore of the lake of the same name and organises kayaking trips on the Berezina, Neman and Plissa rivers. The hosts have also developed the “Chereshlyanskaya Krugosvetka” water route.

During their stay at the “Chereshlya” farmstead, guests can watch bast shoes and baskets being woven and take part in agricultural work.

Trails and Landscape

The “Chereshlya and Surroundings” trail can be travelled on foot, by bicycle or by horse-drawn carriage. It leads through mixed forest, pine and oak stands, marshes, sand dunes, flood meadows and sandy fields. The trail includes local museums dedicated to partisan history and an ethnographic museum.

Culture and Remembrance

The Museum of Partisan Glory is located in Chereshlya. The main part of its exhibition is situated in a forest where the Dzerzhinsky Brigade was stationed during the war.

In Navahrudak District, a club museum in Chereshlya is one of the five museums in operation. The memorial complex and partisan camp were opened in 1974.
