Sis is associated with the Shamakhi Rayon; an internal tourist route connects Sis, Keşməddin, Qəleybuğurt and Qala dərəsi. Nature
In the Shamakhi Rayon, the landscapes range from steppe through foothills to forests. The area includes deciduous forests and spring meadows covered with red tulips. The Shamakhi area is associated with 520 flowering plant species; more than 50 medicinal plant species have also been recorded there.
The Pirqulu State Nature Reserve was established in 1968 and initially covered 1,521 hectares. In 2003, it was expanded to 5,000 hectares before being incorporated into Shahdag National Park in 2006. Several internal tourist routes are designated in the Pirqulu State Nature Reserve. Eco-tourists and other travelers also visit Cangi Forest, which is mentioned as another natural destination.
Regional features
The Shamakhi Rayon is one of the important centers of grape cultivation in Azerbaijan. Wines from Shamakhi received medals and diplomas at international exhibitions.

Sis is part of an internal tourist route connecting Sis, Keşməddin, Qəleybuğurt and Qala dərəsi. No tourist infrastructure is described for this route.
Qaleyi-Buğurt is described as the ruin of a defensive fortress located on a mountain peak near the village of Qaleybuğurt. The complex is dated to the 11th to 13th centuries. Basins, a water tower and remains of an aqueduct are still present at Qaleyi-Buğurt. From Qala dərəsi, Qaleyi-Buğurt can be reached on foot in approximately 40–50 minutes.
Bado has been identified as a natural recreation area in the village of Qaleybuğurt. For further navigation within this selection, Mingəçevir, Zaqatala, Kuzun, Turist, Aghbulag, Tovuz, Bala-Gusar and Nakhchivan are also available.
