Culture and History
The Khinalig History and Ethnography Museum opened in 2001 and presents the history and cultural heritage of the village. The Khinalig History and Archaeology Museum presents more than 5,000 exhibits. In Khinalig, knitting wool socks is a widespread tradition among women.

Quba offers culinary master classes on preparing Paxlava and Bükmə. Quba is also associated with opportunities to learn about local culinary traditions. The Quba Tea Factory offers insights into tea processing and opportunities to taste freshly brewed Quba tea.
Nature and Landscape
Parts of Xınalıq and Laza are located in Shahdag National Park; endemic and unique bird species can be observed there. Quba is a gateway to the Caucasus Mountains and a base for ecotourism and outdoor activities. The 8.2-kilometre Xınalıq–Qalaxudat route offers views of Mount Qızılqaya and the Qudyalçay Valley. Quba’s National Golf Club was Azerbaijan’s first golf course.
Geographical Location
The Baku–Quba–Russian Border Highway has a 129-kilometre toll section, access to which is provided by chip cards and payment for which is made using chip-enabled cards; the further northern route also offers long-distance roads, buses, taxis, and shared cars.
The road to the recreation centres along the Ermyaki route was described as paved; other roads were described as neglected.
