Rishon LeZion brings together experiences with a wide range of themes: Superland lies in the west of the city, near the coast and the Yes Planet complex. Art and historic sites lead to the work of Yaacov Agam, kinetic art and the town’s early history. Beach facilities define Hof HaYeladim, while Hof HaGolshim is home to the surf club. If you are looking for a vacation rental, first consider which of these perspectives you want to shape your stay.

Superland: Rides and Parkland

Superland covers 80 dunams. A lake lies at its center, surrounded by lawns and coconut palms, with a waterfall flowing into it. This parkland gives the amusement park a focal point of its own, alongside its rides. The operator describes the rides as suitable for visitors of all ages. Since rides can be updated over time, check the availability of individual attractions before your visit.

Kumba is a roller coaster with loops and corkscrews. For younger visitors, the “Children’s World” area offers rides including a children’s roller coaster, Lighthouse, Samba Balloon and Rocking Tug. Availability can change here, too; check with the operator before your visit for the current attractions. The park’s general age range and the specific selection of individual rides are two separate planning considerations: this lets you set expectations for the park while also checking whether a particular ride is available.

Art and Early Town History

The Agam Museum of Art is dedicated to the work of Yaacov Agam and kinetic art. Kinetic art draws attention to movement as part of the design, offering a different focus from the city’s historic buildings and dates.

The Great Synagogue is located in the settlement center. Its construction was completed in 1889 with the support of Baron Rothschild. Twelve openings on the façade represent the twelve tribes of Israel; a Hanukkiah stands on the roof. The Shvil Rishonim is part of the Rishon LeTsiyyon Open-Air Museum and includes other sites in the historic town center, the settlement’s former center, in addition to the museum grounds. The First Hebrew Gymnasium is also part of the town’s history: it was established as a girls’ school in 1886. The dates are only three years apart, while the synagogue and the school represent different historical functions.

Beach and Surfing

At Hof HaYeladim, the beach facilities remain open to promenade visitors even after lifeguard hours have ended. Operating details may change; check local information before your visit. Blue flags fly on the beach. Check the latest beach information for seasonal conditions.

At Hof HaGolshim, the municipal surf club welcomes surfers to join. If you plan to visit the club, check the current hours in advance. The beach information highlights different features: Hof HaYeladim is known for its beach facilities and connection to the promenade, while Hof HaGolshim is home to the surf club.

Getting There and Planning a Vacation Rental

Train services stopping at Rishon LeTsiyyon–Moshe Dayan station and Dan bus line 13 are listed as connections to Superland. Since bus routes can change, check current service before you travel. When choosing a vacation rental, consider whether the amusement park, art and local history, or the beach and surfing will take up the largest part of your plans.
