The Ijevan Museum of History and Regional Studies is located near Ijevan. It has five exhibition halls and displays material from the 3rd and 2nd millennia BC. The exhibition covers the areas of information, nature, archaeology, ethnography, and heroes.

Astghi Blur, the Monument to the Freedom Fighters, Tesilk, Khor, and Aytsazhayrr are located near Ijevan. The surrounding area of Ijevan also includes the Takhtaeghtsi Tomb Field and Aghavnu K’arayr.

Nature

The Ijevan Arboretum covers 9 hectares and contains around 700 species of trees and shrubs. These include conifers, deciduous trees, and evergreen species from most continents. The tourism agency describes the banks of the Aghstev there as a picnic spot.

At the Mailyan Studio in the centre of Ijevan, visitors can also attend master classes on woodworking, natural stone, and stone sculpture.
