Real Madrid theme park will appear in the UAE

Theme park in honor of the Real Madrid club from Madrid is one of the recent most ambitious tourism projects in the UAE. The construction cost is estimated at about $1 billion.

The park was named Real Madrid Resort Island. The press conference dedicated to the start of construction works was attended by the Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas and forward Karim Benzema. One of the best Real’s players of all times Zinedine Zidane and its current coach Jose Mourinho have already photographed with the T-shirts advertising the project.

One of the main park sights in addition to many attractions promises to be the Real museum, which exposition will be equipped with the latest technology. Another highlight of the park will become a stadium, which is located in a picturesque place on the shores of the Indian Ocean.

Among other attractions of the park will be exclusive holographic show, which will show the best Real goals of all times.

The park will have a five-star hotel, a roller coaster and bungalow complex. Such sports facilities as training fields and swimming pools will also be created in the park. The artificial island with the Real Madrid Resort Island will have a yacht pier.

At present Asia and especially Middle East are experiencing a football boom due to the forthcoming World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

Construction of a new football super park will be funded by the emirate’s government. It is expected that Real Madrid Resort Island will receive its first visitors in 2015 and each year will be able to serve up to 2 million people.
