Tenerife is now available in Facebook

Tenerife Tourism Corporation presented in Facebook special page that is designed to promote tourism in Tenerife in the largest social network in the world. The company reports first results, which were achieved thanks to the new marketing policy.
Launching of the official Tenerife profile www.facebook.com/tenerife.travel in Facebook took place in January 2011. In 4 weeks this page managed to win more than 1,000 regular readers and the number views was over 30,000.
In this community users can see the sights of Tenerife, find information about current events on the island, as well as to see pictures of the island and also contact Tenerife tourist office.
Tenerife Tourism Corporation chose Facebook as the only social platform that will be used to enhance the image and provide objective information about vacations on Tenerife.
Among other available tools tourism authorities of the island widely use Twitter and youtube.
Start of the Tenerife community in Facebook in addition to expanding presence of Tenerife Tourism Corporation on the Internet was also aimed at solving current marketing problems - check how effectively can be promoted large-scale events via social services. Thus, the main focus of the first advertising campaign in Facebook has been made on Carnival in Tenerife, which will take place these days on the island and last until March 13, 2011.
Tenerife is now one of the key tourist destinations in Spain. There are located numerous tourist attractions, which are known throughout Europe. In particular, on Tenerife today is located the Siam Park, one of the largest water parks in Europe.

Britain ask tourists to stay
VisitEngland national tourism agency decided to start the large-scale advertising campaign to promote holidays in the UK. Talking about the virtues of vacations on the beautiful austere British Isles the authors hoped to attract by this advertising concept at least some part of the multi-million flow of British tourists from hot resorts in Spain, Italy and Greece.

At the end of April 2012 British publication Restaurant has published another list of the best restaurants on the planet - The World's 50 Best Restaurants. This rating has been published since 2002 and over the last ten years could become one of the most respected in the world.
