A festival of whiskey was held In Zurich

The most refined alcohol, the most delicious chocolate, the purest mineral water and the most expensive cigars - all these attributes of refined pleasure were offered to the public from 27 to 30 November 2010 at the Whiskyship festival in Zurich.
Initially, 12 years ago, the Whiskyship festival was designed as an event dedicated exclusively to malt whiskey. Hundreds of varieties of this noble drink the visitors of the festival could try on the board of six extra-class ships, where actually the holiday took place. However, over time, gaining increasing popularity, Whiskyship expanded its "assortment". Connoisseurs of malt whiskey drew the attention of the festival organizers to the fact that its taste is very well shadowed by the chocolate, but only bitter, with a high content of cocoa. Moreover, the different varieties of whiskey should be tried with different sorts of chocolate. And good cigars with coffee are well combined with whiskey. After whiskey some people want to water their mouths, naturally the best one. Therefore, taking into account the wishes of both the visitors of the festival and the producers of whiskey Whiskyship 2010 appeared before its guests in a new perspective.
During the four days at the lake near Burclyplatz were moored six ultra-modern ships. It housed more than 850 types of whiskey, 250 varieties of the best coffee and tea, 100 recognized varieties of mineral and drinking water, as well as 300 kinds of cigars. At the same time on the ships were organized parties with the most exquisite meals. It is worth noting that only one ship was available for people under 18, where there were no alcohol and tobacco products. The remaining five ships were available to the public until midnight on every day of the festival. Here visitors could take part in tastings and seminars on whiskey, purchase books and catalogues of well-known manufacturers. On the last day of the festival in Zurich was held a whiskey auction, where people could acquire the best sorts of this male drink.

Britain ask tourists to stay
VisitEngland national tourism agency decided to start the large-scale advertising campaign to promote holidays in the UK. Talking about the virtues of vacations on the beautiful austere British Isles the authors hoped to attract by this advertising concept at least some part of the multi-million flow of British tourists from hot resorts in Spain, Italy and Greece.
