Views and History at Kadyński Las
The “Kadyński Las” nature and history trail is on the slope above Kadyny. One of its viewpoints overlooks the Ceglanego Potoku valley, a brickworks, the Vistula Lagoon and the Vistula Spit. The Birkner family mausoleum is also one of the trail’s stops. The viewpoint and mausoleum offer different perspectives: the landscape shapes the impression at one, while the other is a historical landmark.
Guided tours with a forester are available for organised groups from educational institutions. They must be arranged in advance by calling 552308531. The trail thus brings together nature and history; however, guided tours are specifically intended for these groups.
Carriages and Sledges in the Historic Barn
The historic barn in Kadyny houses a collection of more than 50 antique carriages and sledges from different periods and parts of Europe. The historic vehicles offer a different focus from the viewpoints and stops along Kadyński Las.
