The Pamusiai barrow cemetery is located approximately 0.2 km west of Pamusiai on the Jurgionys–Babriškės road and covers more than 100 burial mounds across 4 hectares. It is considered the largest and best-researched burial monument in this area. Cremation burials dating from the 8th to the 10th century were found in the cemetery.

Cycling

The 40 km section of the Varėnos Didziulio cycle route from Varėna to Daugai passes through the surroundings of Pamusiai, Vaikantonys and Kančėnai. The cycle route connects Varėna and Daugai; completing the entire route takes approximately two to three days.

Water and Nature

The kayaking route on the Varėnė can begin in Pamusiai. The water trail on the Varėnė passes by Pamusių miškas and Pamusiai. After the section from Pamusiai, the Varėnė flows through a marshy valley overgrown with tall stands of reeds.

The Pamusių miškas forest can be reached from Pamusiai via a forest road that branches off from the Alytus–Vilnius road in the village. The Pamusio rest area is located near the Pamusių miškas forest. The Pamusis rest area is 150 m beyond the “Pamusių miškas” sign.
